Track: Ain’t Gonna Lie
The Manchester bombing was utterly devastating for the victims and their families and friends, and for everyone who lives or is connected to the city. Our thoughts have been with those directly involved ever since and will remain so for a long time. In the face of the suffering caused by the bombing one light has shone brightly: the inspiring response from the people of Manchester. Mancunians are a proud, compassionate, rowdy and relentlessly creative lot and our defiance and togetherness in the aftermath of this crushing blow has been uplifting amid the disbelief and gloom. Manchester’s restless, inclusive spirit will never be extinguished, even in the face of such a senseless and cruel act. We will march on, and choose love, not hate.
