Track: Only The Good Die Young
Space Monkeys were the last band signed by Tony Wilson to his seminal Factory Records label in 1995. Only The Good Die Young is a previously unreleased track recorded in 1998 at Suite 16 Studios in Rochdale, the same studio where Joy Division recorded Atmosphere & The Stone Roses produced Elephant Stone with Peter Hook. This track was originally a demo recording for Space Monkeys’ second album and has been gathering dust in an attic for almost 20 years. Space Monkeys reformed in 2015 and are currently recording a new album in Manchester.
