It’s encouraging to see Manchester’s communities coming together in solidarity for those lost, and in defiance of the dangerous and greatly divisive ideologies pushed by right wing populists like Farage – all too happy to use this as an opportunity to spearhead racist anti-immigration agendas. We are a smart, resilient and strong community if we remember it was love that brought us into this world, and love that keeps us in it.
